Whose Religious Freedom? A Jewish Perspective on Roe V. Wade

On Tuesday, I attended the Jewish Rally for Abortion Justice in Washington, DC. As I looked around at all of the people that had gathered to support the right to choose, from bubbes to rabbis to Jewish politicians, community leaders, children, and parents holding signs that said things like, “Abortion access is a Jewish value,” I was surer and prouder than ever of the power of my religion to bring people together for good.
